Learning about Science
The Los Angeles fires of 2025 have been a wake-up call.
As Vaillant (2024) notes, ’the weather’ doesn’t mean the same thing it did in 1990, or even a decade ago.
Political partisanship will not fix the weather or the planet.
There are no easy answers to global warming, as Welch and Cornell (2022) explain.
The path forward will be long and hard, but we can begin by learning about the science of our planet (Juniper 2021).
