The Republican National Convention begins in Milwaukee today.

Donald J. Trump, the likely Republican nominee for president, has secured the Make America Great Again (MAGA) base. To win the November general election, however, Trump needs to capture discouraged Democratic voters and independents.

Who will be Trump’s VP pick? This is the question on everyone’s mind. Most VP nominees suggested in mainstream and independent media would do little to bolster Trump’s chances of winning.

Many say the VP pick doesn’t matter. This incorrect thinking was dispelled with John McCain’s selection of Sarah Palin in 2008: Game Change.

Trump can change the 2024 election narrative with an unlikely VP pick: Tulsi Gabbard.

Consider a Trump-Gabbard ticket versus a Biden-Harris ticket. Gabbard makes strong arguments against US involvement in foreign affairs. And Gabbard has performed well on the debate stage against Democratic rivals.

The Virtual Tout® will be watching and listening to both sides of the election debate. And if we can develop trustworthy, data-driven predictive models, we will post our forecasts here.
