Northwestern University Thought Leadership Panel #

This event is part of the School of Professional Studies Thought Leadership Series—a program of online events featuring a wide range of compelling topics and thoughtfully led conversations throughout the 2024–25 academic year.

Representing the School of Professional Studies at Northwestern University:

  • (Moderator) Mollie Foust, an adjunct faculty member in the Master of Arts in Public Policy and Administration (MPPA) program.
  • Angela Fontes, an independent research consultant with a background in behavioral science and survey methodology. She teaches a course in behavioral economics and public policy in the MPPA program.
  • Stephen Kleinschmit, a full-time faculty member in the MPPA program. He has 17 years of experience teaching public policy and administration, including experience in political research, statistics, and survey design. He is known for his research in public policy data science and civic technology.
  • Tom Miller, faculty director of the Master of Science in Data Science (MSDS) program, author of six textbooks on data science and developer of The Virtual Tout®.
